The Scoop 2/22/10

Those of you waiting with bated breath, you'll be happy to hear that I passed my CFP exam! Yay! I'm happy. For all you San Francisco fans out there, I'm sorry that I haven't been playing out as much, but I do have a show coming up, so you're in luck!

Tuesday, March 16th at Dolores Park Cafe
in San Francisco with Chris Trapper.

I've been quite focused on my seminars for work, which are geared towards parents. The title is, "How to avoid turning your kids into financially irresponsible adults." I'm quite proud of it!

In the music category though, there is still a lot to talk about. The Live DVD, 'Raw at the Tin Angel' is almost done and I'm currently writing a kids album, set to be released in August this year. In due time my friends, there will be lots of exciting news. Thanks for being patient.

The Scoop 10/21/09

I've been busy studying like crazy for a super hardcore exam for work (CFP) and didn't think I'd be playing much for the next couple of months. But somehow I got a gig playing at a Chamber of Commerce Mixer, a show at the Rockit Room in SF and a volunteer gig back with 'Bread & Roses.'

Hope you locals can make it to the Halloween Hangover Party on November 1st. You'll get to see 4 awesome performers. Don't forget to bring a hat for a chance be part of the show AND to win a FREE CD!

The Scoop 9/10/09

Last week I was back in Philly for the first time in 3 years and it was awesome! We didn't just record the audio, we also videotaped the whole show, so I'm happy to say that I will be cutting a Live album and Live DVD. You can get a preview NOW on youtube!

The Scoop 6/8/09

First of all... I finally figured out this YouTube thing all the young kids are talking about these days.  I didn't exactly plan to record anything, but my friend, Brian caught bits of songs. Secondly, I'm coming back to Philly to play at the Tin Angel. So all you Philly friends have got to come to the show just like old times. I'd love to see you and have a little reunion. It's crazy that it's been 3 years. I have a bunch of new songs (one of which is a great sing-a-long that you'll love) and I will still break out the pots and pans for you to play.

I had such a great time at Brainwash cafe a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for coming out and getting involved. Mark your calendars for March 31st. Chris Trapper is coming back to town and I am proud to be playing with him again. Chris is such an amazing performer and songwriter. He's been to the Grammy's to represent his original song 'This Time' from the Grammy nominated soundtrack for major motion picture AUGUST RUSH. Happy New Year, everyone! I think 2009 is going to be amazing. This is partly due to the fact that I'm going to be playing out more often this year. Yep, I decided this whole 'play-every-once-in-a-while' thing is just not cutting it. So, get ready to come out to some sweet shows. I'll keep you posted. Hope the year has started off well. The Scoop 10/27/08

Halloween is almost here and I'll be playing in Austin, TEXAS! Looking forward to a great night. I've been busy with the real job (being a financial advisor these days is quite interesting -to say the least), but I do want to start playing out again. If anyone wants to help me book shows, let me know. Lately, I've been climbing a lot, doing yoga and hanging out. I can't believe it's almost November. 2009 is on it's way...

I know an update is well overdue, and those of you who have been struggling with life not knowing what I possibly could be doing all
these months...I'm sorry. (I think the only one in that category may be my mom and I spoke to her yesterday, so she should be ok for now.)

1) MY LIFE
Well, my life has changed. I moved back to California, (living close to SF) decided to get a full time job and did. I am now a financial advisor (and damn good one if I do say so myself.) I'm enjoying a much more balanced life. I'm loving work, playing shows, volunteering, rock climbing, running and I recently started yoga.

The Scoop 4.17.07

Yes, I have been in hiding for awhile, but I'm coming out to play!!! Please join me and my band in San Francisco on Thursday, May 31st. We'll be back at Hotel Utah for another big party. Lots to celebrate; a well overdue performance in the bay area with the band (after more than 6 months), my official move back to California and... and... and... my 30th birthday! (maybe keep that big number on the DL) Oh, it's time to celebrate! Bring your friends and let's have a party!

The Scoop 11.9.06

My trip in Europe was fantastic! I played a couple shows in Switzerland and a couple in Holland and loved them all. I even had the opportunity to play with Glen Phillips from 'Toad the Wet Sprocket' while I was in Amsterdam. Considering that 'Walk on the Ocean' was my senior prom theme song, that was really cool! As for what's on the horizon, well..I'll tell ya. I'm moving to San Francisco on Wednesday!!! I'm getting super excited! I'm going to take some time to get to know the city, but I'll be playing locally very soon.
